2 weeks Private Wheel Throwing class
Come play with clay in my Santa Monica studio and learn wheel throwing with this one-on-one class!
This 2 times 2 hours private sessions will focus on the potter’s wheel. Beginners and Intermediates are very welcome.
We will schedule the class according to both our availabilities. It can be mornings, afternoons, evenings; weekdays or weekends. I like to adapt to your needs and create a custom class that will fit you best.
During these private classes we will be making any form you would like to learn and go through the basics of wedging, centering, pulling and shaping.
The 2nd class will be focused on trimming the pieces you made previously and prepare them for two firings. I will clean up your pieces (trimming) and prepare them for 2 firings. At the end of the class, you will choose the glaze I’ll apply to your creation(s) when they are ready.
You can also pick up your bisque ware to glaze it yourself and bring it back for the last firing.
This class is for you if you want :
1. A hands on introduction to the potter’s wheel
2. Need to get your hands dirty and try something new
3. Have already taken classes but want to improve your skills

Classes are non-refundable but can be rescheduled if needed. The piece(s) you make can be picked up in person after they are completed or shipped at cost. After purchase you’ll receive an email with details, location address and instructions for the day.
